- Yes. Boards, voting and chat are free. We show a small number of ads, and you can remove them for everyone on a board with a single Board Pass.
- 02Can you choose a trip with friends without an account?
- Yes. You can create a board and invite people with a link. No account, no password to forget.
- 03How does the voting work?
- Everyone votes Yes, Maybe or No on each adventure. Yes counts more than Maybe, and Maybe counts more than No. The trip everyone actually wants wins.
- 04Can you change your vote?
- No. Once submitted, votes are locked in. So think before you click.
- 05What happens if there is a tie?
- When there is a tie, everyone gets to pick their one favourite. If that is still a tie, one is picked at random.
- 06What does 'unfurl a link' mean?
- When you paste a travel link into a board, Travler tries to fetch a preview card with the photo, name, price and location pulled straight from the listing. That process is called unfurling. It works automatically for supported sites.
- 07What if my link doesn't unfurl?
- Email hello@travlerapp.net and we'll see what we can do. We usually add new sites within a week.
- 08Which travel sites does Travler support?
- We try to support sites like Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Hostelworld, Hotels.com, Expedia, Agoda and many others. But support can change week to week due to technical restrictions on their end.
- 09Is my board private?
- Yes. Boards are end-to-end encrypted. Only people you invite with the link can read or vote.
- 10How do you plan a group trip without the chaos?
- Put the whole trip in one place. In Travler every trip gets a board: friends paste links, everyone votes Yes, Maybe or No, and the weighted tally crowns a winner. No spreadsheets, no 200-message thread.
- 11How do you decide where to travel with friends?
- Vote on it. Add every destination to the board, let everyone vote independently, and let the tally decide. Loud voices don't win. The math does.
